MBDA was formed in 2001 and has since established a significant presence in five European countries as well as in the USA to become a world leader in the guided missile systems sector. The company, with an annual turnover of 3 billion in 2011, is unique in its ability to meet the guided weapons requirements of all three of the armed forces: air, sea and land.
